"TWINSTAR" is a nickname of SAKURA's unisex coupling, that comes from our research work on the functionalities required for fire fighting scene.
TWINSTAR coupling is our answer and is world wide patented.
We started the development of TWINSTAR coupling for the use of fire fighting, because we has been manufacturing fire fighting hose over half century.
We also understand the versatile design of this coupling from very early stage of development.
In the year 2001, SAKURA starts the promotion of TWINSTAR Coupling for food machinery and chemical industry.
This type is called as "Sanitary TWINSTAR", that is merely one example of the versatility of TWINSTAR.
